Pebeo Mediums
Please read directions carefully before starting.

Wear rubber gloves, apron or old clothes.
Utensils used for dyeing or painting should never be used for food preparation.

Lightener:
This lightening medium is used to create lighter shades of Setacolor Transparent, without weakening or thinning the product. Just add a little Setacolor to a small amount of this medium and stir well. Please note that colors will be a little less transparent.

Thickener:
The Thickener is especially recommended for stenciling or screen printing with the Setacolor Transparent. Briskly mix a few drops of thickener with the Setacolor until you obtain the desired consistency. The Thickener can also be thinned down with water, if needed. Working in a well ventilated room is recommended.

Colorless Masking:
Apply the masking product with a paint brush to the areas of the fabric that you wish to keep in their original color. Then paint in your fabric design with Setacolor Transparent, avoiding the masked areas. Let dry; then fix colors by pressing with a hot iron. The Colorless Masking will be removed with the first wash.

Fabric Glue:
This glue is great for applying fabrics that have been painted with Setacolor onto wood, other fabrics, cardboard, etc. Apply the Fabric Glue with a paint brush on the reverse side of the fabric and then decorate your objects. Set aside to dry. This glue is not wash-resistant.

Expandable Puff Paint:
A spectacular product to create patterns in relief on fabric and paper. For bright colors, simply apply the puff paint with a paintbrush, let them air dry then apply Setacolor Transparent as desired. For pastel colors, mix the puff paint with one color of Setacolor, then apply to the fabric, and let dry. Expand the Puff Paint by using a heat gun or a hair dryer, placed at least 6 inches above the Puff Paint.

Taffeta Finish:
Use the Taffeta Finish to give your fabrics that have been painted with Setacolor Transparent, a more old, aged appearance. Stir the product well before using. Then apply like a varnish over the dry painted fabric. For a uniform finish, work with a brush using smooth, broad strokes. Once dry, press with an iron for 5 minutes to fix the finish. The fabric may then be hand or machine washed in warm 100F (40C) water.

Gold & Silver Glitter Finish:
Use the Gold and Silver Glitter Finish to add a beautiful sparkle to your fabrics that have been painted with Setacolor Transparent. Stir the product well before using. Then apply like a varnish over the dry painted fabric. For a uniform finish, work with a brush using smooth, broad strokes. Once dry, press with an iron for 5 minutes to fix the finish. The fabric may then be hand or machine washed in warm 100F (40C) water.
