• Wear rubber gloves, apron or old clothes.
• Utensils used for dyeing should never be used for food preparation.

Pebeo Soie Diluent
Used with the Pebeo Soie colors when you want to obtain pastel shades without changing the flow characteristics of the dye.

1. Mix 5 Tablespoons and 1 teaspoon (80 ml) of the Diluent with 2 cups (500 ml) of water, to obtain a ready to use thinner.

2. Add this mixed thinner to your Pebeo Soie colors, whenever you want a lighter value.

3. Paint your silk as usual and let it completely dry before steam setting.

4. Steam set.

5. Rinse, wash, and dry.

Pebeo Soie Anti-Diffuser
Use Pebeo Anti-Diffuser for silk painting without gutta resist lines or to prevent brush strokes from bleeding into the fabric. When you are working on a densely woven silk, you may need to thin down the Anti-Diffuser using a small amount of water, to allow it to penetrate into the fabric.

1. Apply the Anti-Diffuser onto the silk before painting and allow the silk to dry.

2. Paint your design freehand and allow the silk to dry completely before steam setting.

3. Steam set.

4. Rinse with warm water to remove the Anti-Diffuser and wash. Allow to dry.

Pebeo Soie Thickener
Paint without gutta. Thicken the Pebeo Soie and you can hand paint, stamp, stencil or screen print your design.

1. Mix up to 30% of this thickener with your Pebeo Soie colors.

2. Paint free hand, stamp, stencil, or screen print your design and let the silk dry completely before steam setting.

3. Steam set.

4. Rinse, wash, and dry.
